New Braunfels Utilities Selects McLean Engineering for Pole Attachment Inventory

New Braunfels Utilities (NBU) of New Braunfels, Texas, has selected McLean Engineering Company to provide a pole attachment inventory. The NBU Electric System consists of 770 miles of overhead and underground distribution lines with over 33,000 electric meters.

As part of their joint use attachment agreements, NBU is due to conduct a pole attachment count (joint use inventory) on its system.  NBU selected McLean Engineering to provide this inventory in an effort to collect the most accurate information possible about its attachments as well as improve relationships with its attachers. This process will help put NBU and its attachers on better footing into the future as they navigate attachment matters.

NBU developed a relationship with McLean Engineering through a recent APPA webinar featuring McLean’s pole attachment experts.
